This government organisation plays a vital role in supporting infrastructure and operational services across Queensland. Based in Toowoomba, the team is responsible for delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support, particularly in areas related to disaster recovery and operational coordination.
Your new role
* Deliver a high standard of customer service to internal teams and external stakeholders
* Compile documents and reports with accuracy, ensuring data integrity across systems
* Update and maintain records using Excel, MyQFleet, and Microsoft Office products
* Support the Business Support Team with a variety of administrative tasks including:
o Data entry and analysis
o Creating work orders
o Preparing weekly newsletters
o Office maintenance
o Fleet management assistance
* Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, including performing tasks across different office areas and local locations.
* Demonstrate professionalism and contribute positively to team culture
* Show initiative and manage enquiries and tasks within expected timeframes
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in an administrative or business support role, ideally within a government or high-volume environment
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with MyQFleet is desirable
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
* A proactive, professional, and team-oriented approach
* Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
