About the role
The Franchise team is a key part of Tyro's growth strategy and is responsible for building strong relationships with franchise partners, supporting head office and field stakeholders, and growing performance across franchise networks. We work closely with cross‐functional teams to deliver a high level of service, consistency and commercial outcomes across multi‐site portfolios.
Reporting to the Franchise Account Management Leader, you will manage a portfolio of franchise and multi‐site partners. Your key responsibility will be to retain and grow existing franchise relationships, drive product adoption and rollout across networks, and ensure head office and site‐level stakeholders receive a proactive, high quality account management experience.
What you'll do
* Proactively manage a portfolio of franchise and multi‐site partners to retain business and minimise churn.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key franchise stakeholders across head office (franchisor), operations, finance and store networks (franchisee / company owned).
* Establish a robust operating rhythm including regular account reviews, quarterly business reviews and agreed action plans.
* Lead commercial discussions and rate reviews to support retention, renewal and sustainable margin outcomes.
* Identify and execute growth opportunities across existing franchise networks, including new site openings, network expansions and product cross‐sell.
* Partner with internal sales teams to support franchise acquisition opportunities that require ongoing account management.
* Drive adoption of Tyro payments, banking and eCommerce solutions across franchise portfolios.
* Coordinate internal stakeholders across onboarding, operations, support and product teams to deliver a seamless partner experience.
* Monitor portfolio performance, maintain accurate account plans and use data and insights to prioritise actions and opportunities.
* Escalate dissatisfied partners or material issues through the appropriate internal processes and ensure timely resolution.
* Support franchise initiatives, campaigns, pilots and projects.
What you'll bring
* Experience in account management, relationship management or business development, ideally in franchise, multi‐site or B2B environments.
* Strong commercial acumen and confidence leading negotiations and value‐based conversations.
* Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities and projects.
* Build strong relationships with both customers and stakeholders (internal/external).
* A data‐led mindset with the ability to interpret performance trends and identify growth opportunities.
* High levels of initiative, ownership and follow‐through.
* Contribute to the energetic and vibrant Tyro culture.
