Executive Director of Sales and Business Growth

At our organization, we are seeking an Executive Director of Sales and Business Growth to lead the development and implementation of successful sales and business strategies.

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through new and existing revenue streams by developing and implementing business development and sales strategies. You will lead a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results in customer engagement, go-to-market decision-making, and coaching executives to develop confidence and capability in sales strategy.

We are looking for someone with significant experience in building and leading high-performing business development and sales teams, demonstrated experience in coaching and supporting executives to develop confidence and capability in sales strategy, and proven experience in fostering a high-performance organizational culture that values innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have substantial knowledge of technology, cyber, AI, and defence-related industries, as well as sharp commercial acumen and negotiation skills. They will be able to identify, pursue, and ultimately deliver business or commercial outcomes and have in-depth knowledge of the various customer drivers and a detailed awareness of the competitive environment.


Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement successful sales and business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
* Lead a high-performing team to achieve exceptional results in customer engagement, go-to-market decision-making, and coaching executives to develop confidence and capability in sales strategy.
* Build and maintain meaningful and authentic relationships with large and complex government customers through demonstrating capabilities.


Requirements:

* Be an Australian Citizen.
* Hold or be able to obtain a Negative Vetting 2 clearance or higher.
* Relevant tertiary education in a degree such as Business, Commerce, Computer Science, Technology, Marketing, or Communications.
