The Team Leader Nursing is to provide both clinical and leadership support to a wide breath of nursing disciplines, and where appropriate provide support to the broader IPHS team. Working closely with the Manager Integrated Primary Health Service (IPHS) and co Nursing Team Leader, this role is responsible for quality improvement initiatives, education, planning and program development and day-to-day support of the clinical operations.
The Team Leader Nursing will liaise with external stakeholders to strengthen the provision of care and will play a lead role in coordinating the team's response for consumers accessing the Palliative Care and Community Nursing Programs.
The role carries an expectation that approximately 60% of time will be allocated to reportable funding hours. In the event of sick leave or workforce shortages, the role is expected to support the team by assisting directly with client care and education.
In collaboration with the other nursing leadership roles, the Team Leader Nursing will provide operational guidance and immediate leadership support.
To be successful, you will require;
* Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Victorian Driver's Licence
* A current Working with Children Check
