Looking for a career in project coordination? We have an exciting opportunity available for a Duty Operations Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating resources to deliver care where it's needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate aircraft, road vehicles, clinicians, and crews to deliver timely care
* Track active missions and respond calmly when plans change
* Balance priorities when demand is high, making decisions with the best available information
* Solve operational issues, escalating when necessary
* Communicate clearly with teams and stakeholders to ensure everyone stays informed
* Maintain accurate operational records, provide structured handovers, and contribute to reporting for clients
* Support safe, efficient, and compliant operations while seeking ways to improve processes
This is a critical role at the heart of our service, requiring calmness under pressure and strong problem-solving skills. As a Duty Operations Coordinator, you will be working closely with a team to deliver life-saving health care to those in need.
Requirements
* Experience in an operational setting (e.g. aviation, logistics, emergency services, or similar)
* Strong prioritisation and decision-making skills, especially under pressure
* Clear and confident communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders
* A willingness to work shifts as part of a 24/7 roster
* Competence with basic computer systems (Microsoft Office)
* NSW Driver's Licence (or equivalent)
* Working With Children Check and Category B vaccinations (can be completed on appointment)
