They deliver trusted IT support, cyber security, and technology solutions across a wide range of sectors.They are looking for a skilled and motivated IT Helpdesk Engineer to join them as a 2nd/3rd Line Team Lead.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and leadership potential who wants to be part of a growing company where your voice and contributions make a real impact.What They OfferCompetitive salary of £31,000 – £35,000 per year28 days of annual leave (including bank holidays)Pension schemeFlexible Friday rota for early finishesLeadership and career progression opportunitiesA supportive, close-knit team environmentExposure to a wide range of technologies and industriesKey ResponsibilitiesProvide 2nd/3rd line support for a wide client base across multiple industries.Lead and support junior team members across 1st and 2nd line functions.Take ownership of complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.Manage and deliver IT projects from planning through to implementation.Advise clients on IT strategy, systems architecture, and future planning.Research and recommend innovative solutions to meet client needs.Support and maintain a range of IT infrastructure and systems.Lead the implementation of cybersecurity best practices within the IT support team, ensuring secure management of systems, data, and user access, while supporting compliance and incident response efforts.Key Skills and Experience3–5 years of experience in IT support or Helpdesk roles (MSP experience preferred)Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environmentsExperience with:Microsoft 365 administration (Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, licensing)Microsoft Azure (VMs, Storage, Vault, Storage Accounts)Virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, SMB, VPNs)Firewalls, routers, managed switches, and Wi-Fi network configurationEmail security protocols (DMARC, DKIM, SPF)Command Line and PowerShell scriptingRemote Monitoring and Management tools (RMM)Apple Mac troubleshooting and Unix command line (preferred)Strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesFull UK driver's licenceBased in Perth, Scotland, our client is a dynamic MSP offering managed IT support and cyber security services.
