Role Overview:
The role of Rehabilitation Consultant involves assisting individuals with their recovery, return to work, and life following injury or illness. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will conduct assessments and case management services across various customer portfolios, support people in recovering and returning to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge, and interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
Program Structure:
The 12-month program includes industry-leading mentorship from our staff with demonstrated experience in their respective disciplines. You will have exposure to a range of different working styles to help you develop your own unique approach. The program structure consists of four stages:
- Stage 1 (1-3 months): Welcome pack on arrival, online induction learnings for technical and soft skills, daily support from local peers and allocated mentor, weekly meeting with Team Leader, report writing training and support via our Quality Assurance Program
- Stage 2 (3-6 months): 3-month check-in, weekly supervision session with allocated mentor, ongoing case reviews and Quality Assurance support, access to incentive program, next 6-month development plan
- Stage 3 (6-12 months): Access to specific service mentoring to work towards goals, celebration of finalizing your new graduate year, engagement with other graduates nationally, access to paid professional development, next 12-month career planning meeting
- Stage 4 (12 months): Reflection and evaluation of the entire program, preparation for future career opportunities, and continued professional development
