About the Position
We are seeking keen workers to join our Narrogin-based hay processing site. Although this may start as a casual role, there is potential for permanent employment for committed staff. We process and export animal fodder to markets including Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan. Positions available include:
* Hay Press Operators: no experience necessary
* Mobile Plant Operators: must hold a valid forklift ticket
Responsibilities:
* Operating the Hay Press
* Inventory management
* Maintaining a clean work area
* Cutting strings on raw product
* Assisting with production as required
To be successful in this role:
* Hold a forklift ticket (essential)
* Live locally to Narrogin (preferably)
* Previous experience in agriculture, especially with hay, is advantageous
* Understanding of quality assurance
* Experience with health and safety protocols in the workplace
* Experience supervising a small team
* Excellent communication skills
