Location: Sydney or Canberra; 24-Month Fixed Term Contract; From $94,198 - $101,643 (depending on experience) + 15.4% superannuation. Applications close at 11:59pm AEDT, Wednesday 8 October 2025.
Note: This role sits within the Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T;) group, which drives transformational change and delivers core technology services across ASIC.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive and administrative support to two DD&T; executives.
- Manage diaries, coordinate meetings, book rooms/equipment, prepare agendas and meeting documentation.
- Oversee inboxes, task lists, and priorities.
- Prepare papers, correspondence, presentations, and other materials.
- Collate/distribute meeting documents, attend meetings, draft minutes, track action items.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation, and expense reconciliations.
- Support event planning for team onsite and leadership/staff forums.
- Assist with procurement, ensuring PGPA Act compliance.
- Deliver admin support: e-filing, records, org charts, team registers, and distribution lists.
- Help DD&T; team adapt to IT changes and recent work practices.
- Drive process improvements using digital and AI tools.
About You
- Relevant vocational qualification in office or business management.
- Experience managing the diary and administrative requirements of senior executives in a government agency, financial services, or private sector organisation.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and coordinate resources to achieve outcomes.
- Experience preparing presentations using PowerPoint.
- Experience undertaking research, reviewing, and editing documents, to assist with the preparation of responses.
- Experience working with Microsoft products including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with SharePoint or similar content management database.
- Ability to resolve problems, demonstrating analytical and decision-making capability.
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships effectively liaising with the EA network and ASIC staff.
