About the role
We are looking for a part time or full-time Grounds and Gardening Team Leader for a new role at Waters Edge Group which offers an exciting opportunity to join our team that manages properties at Coombabah and Bundall.
What you'll be doing
* You will be a team leader working with an enthusiastic group Monday to Friday (35-40 hours per week) to ensure all complexes are maintained to a high standard.
* Undertaking general gardening duties such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding and planting
* Performing routine maintenance and upkeep of gardens, lawns and other landscaped areas
* Identifying and addressing any pest or disease issues affecting plants and shrubs
* Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
* Assisting with larger landscaping projects as required
* Ensuring a high standard of presentation and tidiness is maintained across all properties
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a similar gardening or landscaping role
* Knowledge of horticulture and gardening best practices
* Ability to operate a range of gardening equipment and tools
* Good physical fitness and stamina to undertake manual work
* Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
* Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities
* A passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
