About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Wellsite Representative to oversee onshore well operations, including workover, intervention and plug & abandonment activities. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution of well programs, supervising crews, and coordinating site operations while maintaining strong HSE and well control standards.
* Supervise workover rigs and intervention operations, ensuring activities are executed safely and efficiently
* Deliver well programs in line with approved procedures, identifying and managing any deviations
* Maintain well control at all times and ensure full compliance with HSE and regulatory standards
* Lead pre-job planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings to align crews on scope and risks
* Manage permits to work and ensure adherence to control of work systems
* Monitor critical well operations, verifying barrier integrity, depths, and equipment performance
* Coordinate contractors, equipment, and logistics to support smooth site operations
* Maintain accurate daily reporting, including operational data, costs, and well records
* Respond to and support incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
* Promote a strong safety culture, including stop work authority and proactive hazard identification
Requirements
* Valid Well Control certification (IWCF Level 4 or IADC Supervisor - current within 6 months)
* Wellsite Permit to Work (PTW) and Permit Authority certification
* Proven experience in onshore well operations (workover, intervention, P&A)
* Strong knowledge of well control, barrier management, and integrity principles
* Experience supervising rigs and managing multiple contractors on site
* Familiarity with slickline, e-line, coiled tubing, and pumping operations
* Ability to interpret well programs, procedures, and technical data
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
* Competent in operational reporting systems (e.g. WellView or similar)
