About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to provide high-quality case management services to promote the welfare of children and young people in care. This is a permanent full-time position within our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) and Therapeutic Supported Independent Living (TSIL) program on the Central Coast, which provides an alternative to long-term residential care.
As a Case Manager, you may work across various locations depending on need. Flexibility to work some additional hours, including weekends, and to undertake on-call duties is required for this role.
* Develop pathways for young people to transition through care and ultimately leave care.
* Complete timely case notes, panel reports, and case work reports.
* Maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and stakeholders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Degree qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
* Additional training or qualifications in developmental trauma, child protection, client intervention, and case management.
* Experience working with children and young people who have experienced complex trauma.
* Knowledge of the Intensive Therapeutic Care model.
* An unrestricted driver's license.
