We seek a detail-oriented Data Product Manager to join the Decision Sciences team. The role involves championing a data-as-a-product mindset, managing data across systems and technology stacks, and supporting data-driven decision-making that impacts customer experience and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be agile, delivery-focused, and possess a broad data background, including requirements, data engineering, governance, and clickstream analytics, with experience working in demanding, fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with product analytics, experimentation, and data engineering teams; define data requirements, support technical inquiries, and provide expertise.
2. Guide stakeholders on strategy, processes, and create playbooks for product analysis and experimentation.
3. Design and enhance the product analytics mart for automated analysis and reporting.
4. Ensure data accuracy and reliability, prioritize data improvements, and manage cross-functional projects.
5. Act as the data domain expert for Decision Science and D2C stakeholders.
6. Utilize SQL and other tools for data exploration and analysis.
7. Promote a data-as-a-product mindset and advocate for advanced analytics in decision-making.
8. Align data initiatives with product vision from both business and data perspectives.
9. Work with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps, requirements, and solutions.
10. Ensure data integrity and compliance with NBCU's data governance standards.
Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data/statistics, or related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in product or data engineering management, focusing on clickstream/product data.
* Strong understanding of clickstream data and instrumentation/tagging strategies.
* Proficiency with SQL, R, or Python for data analysis.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with experience in agile environments.
