Mtec is currently seeking a self-motivated, reliable administration team member to join our busy office supporting our dynamic business administration team.
Family-owned business with over 14 years of operation in the Hunter region, supporting our valued employees, clients, and the community.

Location: Rutherford Office (initial 2 months at Mtec's Singleton Office)
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, full-time permanent role

Mtec Mechanical Services is NSW industry leader in providing mining and construction earthmoving equipment maintenance solutions, including maintenance project planning, project management, and maintenance execution for onsite field & mobile equipment shutdowns, overhauls, and earthmoving asset & component repairs across our two facilities for clients in the Hunter Valley region. We employ over 100 local people.
With over 14 years of building long-term, sustainable relationships with major mining and civil clients, we aim to be the premier provider of mining and construction equipment shutdowns and overhauls in NSW.

About The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work within our business administration and accounts team.
The position starts at our Singleton office for 2 months, then moves to our Rutherford Workshop, which is currently in final construction stages.
This is a front-of-house role: greeting clients, contractors, and suppliers; managing incoming calls and queries; visitors; and maintaining the front office.
The role includes assisting with accounts receivable and payable, general office duties such as filing, preparing reports, data entry, register management, and other administrative tasks as per business needs.

About You:
* Previous office administration experience essential; experience in machinery maintenance business desirable
* Professional, customer-focused attitude essential
* Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with changing priorities
* A great sense of humour is essential; our team makes work enjoyable
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office; Pronto ERP experience desirable
* Reliable attendance and punctuality essential
* Willingness to adhere to safe work practices, policies, and procedures
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
