What you'll be doing
Menu Planning and Development
Creating new dishes and updating the menu.
Considering customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients.
Food Preparation and Cooking
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to high standards.
Ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation.
Supervising kitchen staff, including training and scheduling.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Inventory and Ordering
Managing food inventory and supplies.
Ordering ingredients and kitchen equipment as needed.
Quality Control
Ensuring food is fresh, properly stored, and prepared safely.
Tasting dishes for flavor and quality before serving.
Health and Safety Compliance
Following hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
Ensuring the kitchen complies with local health regulations.
Cost Control and Budgeting
Minimizing waste and managing food costs.

What we're looking for
* Minimum Cert IV in Cookery and a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef.
* Proven track record of preparing high‑quality meals in a fast‑paced environment.
