Role Title

Client Engagement Manager

Role Description

We are currently seeking two Client Engagement Managers to join our tightly knit team of professionals on a permanent basis. Perhaps you've been in a Client Engagement or Business Development role, or Account Management, and are looking for the next prospect.

Role Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in existing and new areas within DFAT or Department of Home Affairs
  • Manage and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders - Conduct site visits and meetings with clients and staff
  • Prepare responses to tender and quotation requests
  • Identify and assist with the recruitment of qualified staff and subconsultants in conjunction with our Recruitment partners and supply chain companies
  • Maintain our contracts and trusted client relationships to secure repeat business and growth
  • Prepare correspondence and reports

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated Client Engagement/Account Management experience
  • Strong experience and established networks in National Security environments. Previous DFAT or Home Affairs experience would be highly regarded.
  • Strategic and financial acumen
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Strong and proven client relationship building skills
  • A proven record of working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Hold and maintain an NV1 security clearance

Desirable Requirements

  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset (highly desirable)
  • Proven operational sales experience (Highly Desirable)
  • Experience in the use of Customer Relationship Management platforms

Required Security Clearance Level

NV1 preferred. Or BASELINE with ability to upgrade to NV1

Canberra ACT

Weekly Hours

40 Hours per week
