Role Description
This is a full-time role for a BMS Technician. The BMS Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Building Management Systems to ensure optimal performance. Daily tasks will include system diagnostics, calibration of sensors and controls, programming of system components, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards. The role will also involve providing technical support to clients and collaborating with other team members to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Technical Expertise: Knowledge of BMS, HVAC systems, controls, sensors, system diagnostics, and calibration.
* Programming Skills: Experience in configuring and programming BMS controllers and system components.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong troubleshooting and fault-detection skills to address system issues effectively.
* Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear technical support and maintain positive client relationships.
* Team Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders.
* Education and Certifications: Qualified in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering. Relevant certifications in BMS or HVAC systems are advantageous.
* Additional Assets: Familiarity with energy-efficient practices and building automation technologies, and a proactive approach to staying updated with industry advancements.
