ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the GM FP&A, this Finance Business Partner role is a key position within a newly built FP&A function. You will partner closely with senior leaders across multiple business units, providing commercial insights, driving performance, and embedding finance into operational decision‑making.
This is not a traditional, process‑driven role — success in this position comes from your ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and become a trusted advisor to General Managers.
You will play a critical role in shaping financial planning, improving business performance, and driving the ongoing evolution of finance within the organisation.
DUTIES
* Partner with business leaders to drive strategic planning and performance outcomes
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units
* Deliver commercial insights, scenario modelling, and financial analysis
* Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor
* Support investment decisions through business case development and analysis
* Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and reporting
* Contribute to transformation initiatives including new systems and planning tools
* Analyse key drivers of performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or FP&A role
* Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling capability
* Advanced Excel skills with the ability to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions
* Proven ability to influence and engage non‑financial stakeholders
* Comfortable working in an evolving, ambiguous environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience in transformation environments or project work highly regarded
* Background in Big 4, mid‑tier, or commercial finance roles
