The successful candidate will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials for residential and commercial projects while ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency.**Key Duties and Responsibilities:**1. Interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and layout requirements2. Lay bricks, pre-cut stone, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials in mortar3. Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures4. Measure and cut materials to required dimensions using hand and power tools5. Mix mortar and ensure proper application for structural stability6. Align brickwork using levels, plumb lines, and other measuring tools7. Repair and maintain existing brick and masonry structures as required8. Ensure construction work complies with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications9. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and clean condition10. Work collaboratively with supervisors and other tradespeople on construction sites**Requirements:**1. Relevant trade qualification in Bricklaying or equivalent industry experience2. Experience working on residential and/or commercial construction projects3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings4. Knowledge of construction safety practices and WHS requirements5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment**Employment Details:**1. Full-Time Position (38 hours per week)2.
