This critical role is designed for a tech-savvy leader who will manage, optimise, and strategically drive the use of retail applications — including POS systems — across our F&B; Operations and Kitchen departments.About the RoleAs Business Applications Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end oversight of nominated systems and technologies used in daily operations across all DHG venues.
This includes managing project implementations, integrations, vendor relationships, system optimisation, and stakeholder engagement — all with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee design, implementation, integration and lifecycle management of F&B; applications, including POS systemsMonitor POS performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless integration with inventory, CRM and accounting softwareLead application-related projects from concept to completion — within scope, time, and budget.Drive continuous improvement across applications to ensure efficient operations and positive user experienceManage and optimise retail business applications across venues (POS, kitchen management and other key platforms)Deliver and manage training for new team members and ongoing refresher sessions for existing staffDevelop reporting solutions to provide key operational insights and support decision-making.Manage/delegate support tickets and change requests, prioritise issues and business critical projectsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance) on system improvements and integrationsManage software and service vendor relationships, including SLAs and contract negotiationWhat You Will Bring5+ years' experience in a similar role managing business applications within the hospitality, retail or F&B; industries is essentialStrong expertise in POS systems and integration with related business platforms.Proven project management experience — from planning through to execution.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with competing priorities.Experience working with software vendors and IT service providers.Understanding of data governance, security protocols, and industry compliance requirements.Why you will love working with us?
