About the Position
Fantastic Opportunity for an RN or EN to join the team on a Full-time Permanent basis in Brisbane or Townsville.
As an RN Education & Development Specialist, you'll be responsible for implementing and overseeing learning and development programs aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of staff members working across a network of aged care facilities. This includes mandatory education, compliance with strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, assess educational needs, and deliver tailored programs that support both clinical and non-clinical staff. The role also involves succession planning, coaching, and mentoring future leaders and learning facilitators.
Key Accountabilities
* Educate and develop your network of homes based on organisational and industry requirements.
* Implement evaluation and feedback processes to measure the impact of education programs.
* Support design and maintenance of training materials aligned with best practice and legislation.
* Manage education calendars and coordinate training schedules.
* Ensure compliance with mandatory training and aged care standards.
* Mentor and coach learning facilitators through Train-the-Trainer programs.
* Utilise data-driven insights to report on trends and improve training delivery.
* Develop succession planning strategies and career development frameworks.
About you:
* Hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
* Have experience working with aged care consumers with complex needs.
* Understand the Strengthened Aged Care Standards and relevant legislation.
* Possess excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Are highly organised, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Suite.
* (Desirable) Have experience with Learning Management Systems and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
