We're seeking an experienced Category Manager to join Tabcorp's Procurement Team on a 6-month contract. You'll take ownership of key sourcing activity, renegotiate and clean up major gaming and technology contracts, and deliver fast, high-value commercial outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Specifically, you will:
* Lead sourcing and negotiation activity for major gaming and technology contracts, ensuring strong commercial and risk outcomes
* Define and refine category strategies, sourcing plans and policies to optimise value delivery across addressable spend
* Drive contract clean-up activities, ensuring terms, renewals, KPIs and documentation are current, compliant and fit-for-purpose
* Lead tendering activity (RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations) and provide clear commercial recommendations
* Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities, identify opportunities, and ensure alignment across categories
* Support supplier relationship management including KPIs, scorecards, governance cadence and improvement initiatives
* Provide clear reporting on sourcing activity, value realisation and category performance
* Identify process improvements across the S2P lifecycle, supporting simplification, standardisation and better ways of working
What You'll Bring
You're a delivery-focused procurement professional who thrives on autonomy and commercial problem-solving. You bring:
* Proven experience in category management, sourcing or commercial management
* Strong negotiation capability across complex supplier contracts
* Experience reviewing, restructuring or cleaning up major contracts
* Ability to build clear sourcing strategies and provide commercial recommendations
* Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, PowerPoint; Oracle/P2P ideal)
* Confidence working independently and engaging senior stakeholders
