Position Overview:
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements, analyze data, and provide actionable insights. This role will involve a combination of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration to ensure that projects are aligned with business objectives and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Requirements Gathering:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
o Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to understand business needs and challenges.
* Data Analysis:
o Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
o Provide reports and dashboards to support decision-making processes.
* Business Process Improvement:
o Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
o Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and process enhancements.
* Project Management Support:
o Assist in the creation of project plans and timelines.
o Track project progress and ensure that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
* Stakeholder Communication:
o Serve as the liaison between business users and technical teams.
o Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
* Solution Design & Documentation:
o Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
o Document business processes, system workflows, and functional requirements.
* Testing & Validation:
o Support the testing process by creating test plans, test cases, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT).
o Validate that solutions meet business needs and are implemented effectively.
* Change Management:
o Assist in the adoption of new systems and processes.
o Provide training and support to users during the implementation of new solutions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in (industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, etc.).
* Strong understanding of business processes, data analysis, and requirements gathering techniques.
* Experience with business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Jira, Tableau, etc.).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across teams.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
* Knowledge of data modeling and database management.
* Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
