JKC Building Pty Ltd is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to the construction of high-quality residential and commercial buildings.
What you'll be doing
Assist experienced carpenters with the construction and installation of various timber structures, such as frames, roofs, floors, and doors
Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Develop skills in the safe operation of power tools and hand tools
Participate in all aspects of the construction process, including preparing materials, measuring, cutting, and assembling components
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations

The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
