Description
● Assemble bridal gowns and separates by sewing and stitching various fabrics, including silk, beaded embroidery, laces, netting, crinoline and other delicate materials.
● Follow design patterns and specifications provided by the designer to create gowns that meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
● Assembling corsetry including the use of crinoline fabrics, application of boning, bust cups and underwire.
● Follow markings to complete exceptional alterations, including taking in/letting out garments,
moulding bust cups, hems, adding zippers or buttons and loops as closures.
● Application of beautifully placed embellishments such as beading and embroidery to match the designers and clients vision for their custom gown.
● Apply finishing touches to gowns, ensuring all embellishment is caught to the gown correctly, no loose threads are visible, all buttons are secure, garment has correct labels and swing tag, garment is steamed to perfection.
● Collaborate with designers and other team members to address any fit or design issues promptly.
● Ensure all garments are finished to the highest standard of quality, maintaining consistency in style and design.
● Inspect completed gowns to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring all tools and machinery are in proper working order.
● Lay and cut fabric with precision, adhering to the grainline and minimizing waste.

Requirements:
● Demonstrable skills in garment construction, pattern making, and sewing, with extensive experience in fashion or bridal.
● Strong knowledge of different fabrics and grainlines, with the ability to handle delicate materials.

● Exceptional attention to detail and precision in all aspects of garment creation.
● Reliable, punctual, and efficient, with effective time management skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
● Proficiency in operating various sewing machines and tools used in garment production.
