About The Preschool
The Entrance Preschool Kindergarten is a not for profit community organisation managed by a voluntary Management Committee made up of parents of the organisation. We are a 39 place preschool that operates between 8:00am to 3:30pm during the NSW Dept of Education school terms only.

What you'll be doing in this role
As Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor you will be responsible for leading our experienced team, upholding our high standards and continuing to drive excellence in pedagogy, safety, practice and compliance.
Your work will include:
* Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and our community.
* Provide consistent and visible leadership in WH&S behaviours and actions within the team.
* Contribute to the continuous development and evaluation and improvements to the service.
* Commitment to providing and maintaining a safe and supportive work environment that is inclusive of all staff.
* Able to establish, foster and nurture collaborative partnerships with families and our local communities
* Working collaboratively with our management committee.
* Confidently identifying and applying for funding and grants through relevant government and community agencies
Essential Criteria
* Previous experience as a Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor
* Minimum ACEQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood qualification
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Education and Care Service National Law and National Regulations
* Excellent knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and teaching pedagogy
* Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management & CPR certificates
* Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
* Demonstrate an understanding of governance principles and able to model best practice
* CHCPRT001 – Identify and Respond to Children and Young People & Risk
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Preferred Criteria
* Community Based / Non Profit Preschool experience and knowledge
* Knowledge of the Dept of Education Start Strong, Disability Inclusion and Fee Relief Funding programs
* Good understanding of budgeting and finance operations
