About The Role
Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Chief Radiographer to join our dedicated medical imaging team at Knox Private Hospital. This is a genuine leadership opportunity for a skilled radiographer ready to take the next step in their career.
Reporting to the Chief Radiographer, you will play a pivotal role in leading day‐to‐day departmental operations, supporting a high‐performing team and delivering exceptional imaging services to our patients and referring clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Chief Radiographer in all operational and clinical aspects of the department
* Provide clinical leadership across general X‐ray, CT & MRI
* Coordinate and supervise staff, including rostering and student supervision
* Drive quality assurance, accreditation compliance and radiation safety programmes
* Contribute to continuous improvement, policy development and best‐practice protocols
Skills And Experience
* Degree qualified radiographer with full AHPRA registration
* Minimum 5+ years of diagnostic imaging experience in a clinical setting
* Demonstrated leadership, senior clinical, or supervisory experience
* Broad multi‐modality skills; CT and MRI experience highly regarded
* Strong communication, organisational and problem‐solving skills
* Commitment to patient‐centred, high‐quality care and continuous improvement
