Reconciliation Services Specialist
Take the lead as the primary point of contact for all general ledger reconciliation services across designated customer groups.
* This role involves delivering accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations while identifying system and process issues impacting financial reporting integrity.
* The ideal candidate will have solid experience in general ledger and bank reconciliations, strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve problems effectively, and excellent time management and communication skills.
* A tertiary qualification in business, accounting, or economics is highly regarded. Previous ERP system experience and proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate Excel skills, are also preferred.
About the Opportunity
This is a pivotal role in ensuring our Accounts team delivers outstanding service. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and reporting on reconciling items, reviewing data processed into the general ledger, and driving process improvements by recommending and implementing simplification initiatives and strengthening financial controls.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, or economics.
* Solid experience in general ledger and bank reconciliations.
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
* Analytical thinking with the ability to solve problems effectively.
* At least two years' experience in a finance role.
* Previous ERP system experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office, including intermediate Excel skills.
