The Operations Manager leads the end-to-end industrial transformation of raw barley into high-quality malt. The Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of operations, ensuring that the biological malting process (Steeping, Germination, Kilning) meets the exacting standards of our global customers. The position is also in charge of the development of our industrial facilities (CAPEX) and the safety of our plant and our employees.
Operations Management
* Build and roll-out the manufacturing plans to maintain volumes and quality standard
* Build and anchor a continuous improvement culture and practices: identify the business drivers, build business cases, and deploy projects
* Implement the good manufacturing practices with Malteurop SA support
Quality Management
* Malt Quality & Process: ensure the respect quality standards of products and raw materials
* Compliance & System: Ensure the respect of FSSC 22000, ISO 14001 et Halal certification by supporting the implementation of quality management system; objectives, action plans, management reviews
* Ensure compliance to all relevant Acts, Legislation, norms, and relevant Malteurop policies / procedures
Technical Management
* Identify the strategic investment for the BU, build business cases, and deploy projects
* Monitor the project life-cycle with Malteurop SA
Safety Management
* Leads and promotes Group Safety Culture and ensures the deployment of the CARE standards
* Fosters a success-oriented, accountable and safe environment within the company.
Profile
To join our team, you have:
* An educational background: Bachelor in Technology, Engineering or Manufacturing
* At least, 10 years' experience in operations management, and preferably in the agrifood industry
