We currently have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join as Sustainability Performance Analyst. Reporting to the Head of ESG & Sustainability, you will be part of a supportive, passionate team working on implementing the bank’s ESG and Sustainability Business Plan.
A key focus is managing, governing, modeling, and coordinating the assurance of ESG data, including researching, analyzing, benchmarking, deriving insights, and presenting sustainability data.
You should be a self-starter, comfortable with data and data governance, and quick to adapt to new ways of working and thinking.
Key responsibilities:
* Coordinate and document ESG data processes, ensuring good governance, sign-offs, and data assurance.
* Analyze ESG data and summarize its impact for sustainability reporting and stakeholder engagement.
* Work with internal stakeholders to collect, assess, and improve sustainability information, indicators, and metrics, and build capacity across the Group.
This is a permanent position, open to full-time or part-time (0.8 or 0.7 FTE). Ideal for someone studying in related fields. Locations: Sydney, Melbourne, or Bendigo.
Our hybrid model includes a minimum of 40% in-office work, increasing to 60% from July 2025.
What you’ll bring:
* Completed or ongoing tertiary qualifications in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related fields.
* Experience with multiple data sources, refining data, extracting insights, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
* Interest or experience in ESG and sustainability.
* High attention to detail, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
