This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our In-Room Dining department, ensuring guests have a memorable and flawless dining experience in their guest room. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in high-quality establishments and possess excellent people management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain operational excellence across main meal serving periods to ensure exceptional service standards.
* Provide coaching, development, and support to team members, fostering a culture that encourages connection and growth.
* Cultivate a positive work environment, driving performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Proactively engage with recruitment, selection, and retention efforts to attract top talent.
* Build strong relationships with internal departments to drive success and efficiency.
* Drive profitability through effective labor management, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
Requirements:
* Proven leadership experience in a large hotel setting, preferably delivering five-star quality.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
* Passion for providing an exceptional guest experience.
* Solid verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in complex software systems.
* Highly developed people and business management skills, including payroll, rostering, cost control, expenses, and P&L's.
