The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Planning Consultant ready to take ownership of projects and contribute meaningfully to the continued growth and refinement of our planning division.
This role will suit a capable planner who values responsibility, maintains high standards and thrives within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
You will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in shaping not only project outcomes, but the continued evolution of our planning offering.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Development Applications, Subdivision Applications, Scheme Amendments and other complex statutory matters
Prepare detailed, strategic and well-structured planning reports and advice
Manage client relationships and provide commercially informed guidance
Engage directly with Local and State Government, referral agencies, sub-consultants and developers
Identify appropriate approval pathways and proactively manage risk
Mentor and support junior planners
Contribute to systems improvement and the ongoing strengthening of the Developed brand
You will collaborate closely with our Planning, Spatial and Delivery teams to ensure efficient, process-driven and commercially sound outcomes for clients.
What We Are Looking For
Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning (or similar)
4+ years WA statutory planning experience (Private Consultancy or Local/State Government)
Strong working knowledge of the WA planning framework (Local Planning Schemes, R-Codes, State Planning Policies, Local Planning Policies, and DAP/Significant Pathways processes)
Demonstrated ability to manage applications independently from instruction to determination
Commercial awareness and understanding of development feasibility
Clear, confident written and verbal communication
Professional presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
We are seeking a planner who demonstrates ownership, accountability and sound professional judgement. This is a genuine senior position. We are seeking someone capable of operating confidently and independently at that level from day one.
