In this role, you will leverage your excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across the board, assisting in the provision of professional, high-quality patient care within the Operating Room setting.
Your duties will encompass assessing patients' needs, planning, implementing, and coordinating appropriate service delivery options, communicating changes in condition and care, monitoring client care plans, and participating in clinical auditing and evaluative research, all aimed at improving patient health outcomes.
In addition to your nursing expertise, you will also be responsible for working effectively within a multidisciplinary team, thinking on your feet, and adapting to changing environments.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy Theatre environment that caters to visiting surgeons specialising in Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Plastics, and General Surgery.

Requirements
Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate
Demonstrated competence in peri-operative nursing practice, specifically anaesthetics, recovery, scrubbing, and scouting skills
Endoscopy reprocessing, pre and post-operative surgery, and day surgery experience
Team player with the ability to think on your feet and work within changing environments
Effective communication skills, including problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills
