About the Job
There is an exciting opportunity with the Esperance Home CareTeam for a qualified and/or experienced Community SupportWorker.This position is to provide support services to olderpeople and younger people with a disability within the Shire ofEsperance to assist them to remain living as independently aspossible within their own homes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide personal care support in areas such as dressing,bathing, toileting and eating.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping duties inclients' homes.
- Undertake medication support and administration forclients.
This is a casual position initially with a view to permanency assoon as schedules allow. This position is only available toAustralian citizens or those with permanent residency.
About you
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you musthave:
- Relevant experience or ability to work with older peopleand younger people with a disability.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability tocommunicate effectively and relate well to older people andpeople with disabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment and contribute to team goals.
Hourly Rate: $35.05 per hour worked.
