St John's Lutheran School, Kingaroy is a Christ-centred, family-oriented community committed to providing quality education in a caring and supportive environment. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Aide for Secondary to join our team.
About the Role
As a Teacher Aide, you will work under the direction of the Head of Learning Enrichment and classroom teachers to support student learning and wellbeing. You will assist in developing a love of learning in children through participation in class and school-based activities, providing tailored support to individuals and small groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teachers in the delivery of educational programs
* Assist individual students and small groups with learning activities
* Support the inclusion of students with diverse learning needs
* Prepare classroom resources and materials as directed
* Assist with supervision of students during class and playground times
* Carry out general classroom administration and resource organisation
* Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Certificate III or IV in Education Support (or the capacity to obtain)
* A warm, caring, and professional approach with children and families
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* The ability to work effectively with limited supervision
* Commitment to upholding the school's Christian ethos and values
* A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
