This Register of Interest is for multiple School Counsellor job opportunities available throughout the Northern Territory. Applications may be assessed while the Register remains open or immediately on its closure in July. The School Counsellor is an essential position providing professional expertise and evidence-based practices to build educators' capacity and understanding of student wellbeing and safety. This is a front-line position working with young people and schools to improve the wellbeing and safety of students. Successful applicants must hold a degree in social work and eligibility as an accredited social worker member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, OR, a degree in psychology and registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Copies of your qualifications and proof of professional membership status must be provided for your application to be considered. Selection will be made at the P1 or P2 level depending on available positions and the experience/qualifications of successful applicants. Applicants may request to be based in various locations through the NT. Special Instructions: Aboriginal applicants will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.
