Associate - MA Moelis Australia (Brisbane)
We are seeking an Associate to join the Brisbane coverage team within our Corporate Advisory division. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing M&A and capital raising transactions across a range of industry sectors, preparing client materials, and supporting the team in financial analysis and market research.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions
* Prepare marketing pitchbooks and related materials
* Gather company information and perform analytical research
* Conduct financial modelling, company valuation, and financial analysis
* Draft marketing documents such as Information Memorandums and Management Presentations
* Produce and maintain various databases, including M&A transactions, restructuring, debt, and equity capital markets
* Provide technical guidance, support and review of junior team members' work
Skills and Attributes:
* Bachelor of Commerce or similar degree
* Between 3 and 6 years of relevant investment banking and transaction experience in a bulge bracket or boutique investment bank, corporate advisory firm or the transaction services team of a Big 4 accounting firm
* Experience in providing technical guidance, support and review of junior team members' work
* Excellent financial and analytical skills, particularly in financial modelling
* Strong communication skills and ability to present analytics and difficult concepts in a simple and clear way
* Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members of all levels
* Strong work ethic and good cultural fit
* Broad interests across all industry sectors and capital markets
