About the role
St Bernadette's OSHClub is looking for a passionate Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part‐time opportunity offering 34 hours per week (guaranteed minimum) to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.
You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday - Friday, 6:45am - 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:15pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up block shifts during the school holidays too!
* Lead a team of Educators, manage a service at a primary school in hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years.
* Develop and facilitate an engaging child‐centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft.
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community and parents.
* Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
* Manage day‐to‐day operations of your service including compliance and administration.
Who are we looking for?
* Enjoy working with kids.
* Strong and explicit communication.
* Team player with a desire to become a service leader.
* Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children.
* Obtained or studying toward a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA.
