Welink. Recruitment are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist (Chain of Responsibility) to lead and support safety and regulatory compliance across heavy vehicle transport operations. This is a high-impact role where you'll proactively protect the business, influence stakeholders at all levels, and champion a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of a CoR-compliant safety management system.
* Identify and assess risks across the supply chain.
* Advise internal stakeholders on CoR responsibilities.
* Develop and deliver CoR training programs, inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher sessions.
* Conduct audits, investigations, and compliance reviews; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
* Monitor data, work diaries, weighbridge records and incident reports to ensure ongoing compliance.
Key Requirements
* 5+ years experience in heavy vehicle transport compliance, fleet management, safety, and/or logistics operations.
* In-depth knowledge of Chain of Responsibility under HVNL, including primary duty, executive liability, and risk areas.
* Proven ability to deliver training and influence stakeholders from drivers to executives.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in audits, investigations, and compliance monitoring.
* Practical understanding of NHVR resources, CoR Master Code, WHS legislation, and load restraint guides.
* Relevant qualifications such as Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety, CoR-specific training, or auditing qualifications are advantageous.
