If you've worked as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist (or in medical reception) and are keen to grow into a role with leadership, responsibility and career progression, this could be your perfect opportunity.
You'll be supported not only by our friendly in-practice team, but also by our wider Dental Group across the Sunshine Coast and Queensland, offering guidance, systems, and professional development.

About the Role
As Practice Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly while supporting both patients and the clinical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing daily front desk and practice operations
• Supporting and mentoring reception and assisting staff
• Patient experience and appointment flow management
• Assisting with rostering, recalls, and coordination
• Working closely with the Principal Dentist and Group Management
• Helping drive a positive, professional team culture
• Providing chairside dental assistance to the Dentist where required

About You
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
• Experience as a Dental Assistant or Dental Receptionist
• Strong communication and people skills
• Natural leadership qualities and initiative
• Organisational skills and confidence juggling tasks
• A positive, friendly approach with patients and colleagues
Highly regarded (but not essential):
• Experience with D4W (Dental4Windows)
• Dental Assisting qualifications
We will also consider:
Medical reception professionals willing to undertake Dental Assistant training.
