This is a full-time, fixed-term position through to 31 December 2027, based at Southern Queensland Rural Health in Toowoomba. The base salary ranges from $135,300 to $143,081 (HEW Level 9) plus 17% superannuation.
About This Chance
We are seeking an experienced and agile
Senior Manager, Operations
to join Southern Queensland Rural Health (SQRH) to manage the operational and administrative functions of the unit, ensuring organisational and financial sustainability. This is a leadership role in higher education, aiming to improve regional healthcare in Queensland and support the education of students and future healthcare professionals.
In This Role, You Will
Support the Director in leading and managing daily operations, strategic development, risk management, quality improvement, reporting, and business functions of SQRH, while providing high-level advice and delivering special projects as needed.
Oversee and manage SQRH's financial, human, and physical resources, supporting budget and grant processes, leading administrative staff, ensuring compliance, and driving performance.
Foster effective internal and external communication, liaising with key stakeholders across academia, healthcare, industry and government.
Our ideal candidate will bring senior management expertise and be committed to improving access to quality health services for rural and remote Australians.
