**Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Understanding rationale of Private Equity and Private Credit investments, financial fundamentals and ongoing management.
- Understanding the economics of trading in options, swaps, hedges and other derivates, plus ensuring accurate reporting and risk analysis of positions.
- Understanding Trading strategies and trend analysis of the stock market. Assessing when to buy, hold or sell shares and company stocks.
- Preparation and review of investment performance reports and analysis, portfolio and individual investments.
- Responsible for oversight of staff involved in processing and reporting of investments
- Manage brokers and broker systems, investment settlements and authorisations
- Investment compliance reporting and monitoring trading exceptions/breaches
- Responsible for accurate and timely investment valuation net asset value reporting
- Managing Funds: maintaining cash flow and Treasury accounts to support liquidity and investment trading
- Managing Funds: making equity financing trades with banks for liquidity and maintaining proxy voting activities
- Overseeing staff maintaining substantial shareholder checks and SRN management
- Produce cash flow reports, investment forecasts and support business forecasting/budgets
- Implement transformation projects across systems, process and investment analytics
**Experience & Education Requirements**
- Must have 2+ years' experience in managing investments administration and investment transactional processes.
- Must have recognised accounting accreditation equivalent to CA (Chartered Accountant) or already be actively studying towards this accreditation
- Demonstration of high communication skills both in a verbal and written context is critical
- Demonstrate experience, working for a stock-market listed employer, across key investment areas: funds management, investment decision making, cash flow reporting & forecasting, reporting of derivatives trades and positions, compliance management
- Demonstrate strong experience, working for a stock-market listed employer, across investment administration: investment processing, controls, brokers, trade execution and settlement, investment valuation, funding.
- Key systems experience preferred: IRESS investment management system at administrator level, Sage accounting system (or equivalent), experience in Bloomberg or FactSet investment reporting & analysis systems.
- Experience required working directly with investment executives and investment trading teams.
Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
