We're offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled Financial Accountant to join a fast-growing hospitality group expanding its footprint in Australia.
This full-time role is central to supporting financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting as the business scales.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc financial tasks
Manage payroll tax submissions and Payment Times Reporting System lodgements
Support BAS, tax reporting, payroll reconciliation, and external audits
Respond to financial queries and collaborate across departments
Your Profile
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
CPA or CA qualified, or actively working towards certification
2–5 years of experience in a financial accounting role
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience in hospitality or food manufacturing is a plus
Must have valid Australian work rights
