- The Assistant Director, as a senior member of the Branch, will contribute to the achievement of Branch and Treasury objectives, including by: - identifying strategic issues and making recommendations regarding potential improvements in relation to a range of areas of Branch focus, including whole of Government contracts, fleet vehicle arrangements or prequalification and Technology Services List assessments;
- providing advice to Ministers, agencies and other stakeholders about whole of Government contracts, fleet vehicles, assessment matters and other areas of Branch responsibility; and - leading Branch projects to improve Government purchasing outcomes and procurement framework requirements.- Join a collaborative and professional team to further develop your skills, knowledge, and experience in a highly respected workplace.
- Engage in a range of interesting activities, including project work, policy development and operational tasks related to the establishment and management of major contracts, Government fleet vehicle matters and assessment schemes.

**Hours per fortnight**:
73.5 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation) - talk to us about how this could work for you. We are open to considering a range of flexible work options.
**Highly Desirable Requirements**:
Completion of relevant tertiary or industry qualifications, and/or professional affiliation.
