* Part time position (32 hours per fortnight) fixed-term until June 2028, based at the Royal Park Campus.

RMH part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs.
RMH is seeking an Administration Assistant to join our Residential In Reach (RIR) and Older Person Care Hub (OPCH) teams. In this newly established role, you will provide essential administrative support across both services, including patient registration, data management, workflow coordination, and stakeholder communication. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to improving administrative processes and supporting innovative models of care designed to keep older people well and reduce avoidable hospital presentations.
Key responsibilities:
In this role, you will
* Provide high-quality administrative support to the Residential In Reach and Older Person Care Hub teams, invoice processing and stakeholder communication.
* Accurately register and manage patient information using the Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and iPM systems to support smooth clinical workflows
* Contribute to the development, refinement and implementation of administrative processes for newly established services.
* Manage data entry, analysis and reporting, including maintaining spreadsheets and supporting service KPIs.
* Assist with operational tasks such as fleet car coordination, scheduling and responding to internal and external enquiries.
About you:
Essential
* Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence using the Microsoft Office suite.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities.

Desirable
* Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EPIC) and iPM, or exposure to health informatics and data collection.
* Previous administrative experience in the healthcare sector or with Office 365 applications.
