This role is responsible for managing complex data flows, driving alignment across internal and enterprise-wide stakeholders, and building a cohesive Markets Data backlog that supports Trading, Product, Distribution, Risk, and enterprise data transformation programs. This role is critical in supporting ASX's strategic objective of becoming a data-driven organisation and ensuring Markets data is accurate, accessible, well-governed, and fit-for-purpose.**Key Responsibilities:*** Define, maintain, and prioritise a Markets-wide product backlog that captures all Markets Data uplift initiatives.* Align data deliverables with Markets strategy, enterprise data strategy, and cross-ASX program dependencies (Accelerate, Data Platform, Data Governance uplift, Data Access, Data Ownership).**Project & Stakeholder Management:*** Work with cross functional teams in aligning the end-to-end delivery of data-related projects and enhancements, ensuring timelines, quality, and regulatory alignment are met.* Act as a single point of coordination across Markets, Technology, Data Governance, Risk, and external vendors as required.* Facilitate workshops to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure consistent understanding of data objectives.**Data Flow & Systems Understanding:*** Develop a deep understanding of data movement across Markets systems including order, trade, reference, market data, risk feeds, and downstream integration points.* Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities within existing data workflows.**Governance, Risk & Compliance:*** Ensure all data initiatives align with ASX policies, data governance frameworks, and regulatory considerations.* Support the uplift of data quality, metadata management, lineage, and access controls across Markets.**Continuous Improvement & Transformation:*** Drive continual enhancement of data delivery processes, tooling, and documentation.* Support Markets' transition to modern data technologies and architectural patterns (e.g., Kafka, cloud-enabled pipelines, data lake/platform consumption).**Required Skills & Experience****Technical / Functional Expertise:*** Strong understanding of financial markets data, including trading, reference, pricing, analytics, and regulatory data.* Experience across data governance, data lineage, data quality frameworks, and data operating models.* Knowledge of Markets systems and end-to-end data flows is highly desirable.**Project & Product Delivery:*** Proven experience as a Project Manager, Product Owner, or hybrid delivery role in data-rich environments.* Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams (Data, Tech, Product, Governance, Risk).* Strong backlog management skills with the ability to balance strategic, tactical, and BAU priorities.**Stakeholder & Communication Skills:*** Ability to translate complex data and system concepts into clear business language.* Demonstrated capability engaging senior stakeholders across business and technology.* Strong influencing and negotiation skills.We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how you'll help us to live our values.
