What's involved – The Cancer Care Clinical Nurse (CC CN) is a Clinical Nurse with clinical knowledge and an in-depth understanding of cancer, cancer management, inclusive of treatment. The Cancer Care Clinical Nurse employs advanced clinical and professional practice capabilities to deliver a positive patient-centred health experience for individuals and their support persons. This role requires the nurse to practice autonomously whilst also proving leadership, support and education to patients, their families and staff across the Central West HHS. This service operated five days a week under the supervision and support of the Cancer Care Clinical Nurse Consultant.

As a member of the Community Health Team, the role will work collaboratively and more broadly with the team and across Central West HHS to ensure continued focus on strategic priorities and delivery of operational imperatives.
