The successful applicant will have:
· Experience in a busy and high volume kitchen
· Experience in a la carte, buffet, plate up and conferencing
· Flexible approach in adapting to guest requests
· An ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment
· Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
· Ability to take direction from Senior staff
· Be able to efficiently and productively run an assigned section.
The successful candidate must possess the following:
· Be a Team player with excellent presentation & communication skills
· Relevant tertiary cookery qualifications
· Previous experience within a hotel environment is desirable.
· Possess a good working knowledge of kitchen procedures.
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
You will have unlimited working rights in Australia and availability to work varied shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
