About the role – Yard Operative
We see your role as one of the most critical roles for our business. You will be responsible for the productivity of the yard on a day-to-day basis and ensuring the operational and hands-on tasks are performed in a successful manner and all customers leave feeling satisfied.
This role is based at our Townsville branch.
Responsibilities Include:
* Picking orders for our customers and loading their vehicles
* Helping with Lyndons deliveries – loading and unloading trucks
* Keeping the yard clean, safe, and organised
* Assist with unloading stock trucks and storing materials in the yard safely and neatly
* Operate machinery safety in accordance with our SWMS & SOPs, reporting any hazards
Skills & Experience Required
* Current Forklift license (QLD)
* Willing to learn and get stuck into hands-on work
* Reliable and shows up on time
* A good team player with a positive attitude
* Able to work in outdoor conditions
