About the role
This is a full-time Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic role with N & P Heavy Mechanical Pty Ltd, located in Yatala, Queensland. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy commercial vehicles to the highest standard, ensuring they remain safe and roadworthy.
What you'll be doing
* Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance on heavy commercial vehicles such as Trucks and Trailers
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
* Replacing worn or faulty parts, components and accessories
* Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
* Ensuring all work is completed to company and industry standards
* Contributing to a safe and organised workshop environment
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Cert 3 Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
* Experience servicing and repairing heavy commercial vehicles
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Current driver's licence
